1947. Fotokemika officially starts production in location Zagreb-Maksimir. Production assortment includes b/w photo papers, photo chemicals, and simple cameras.
1952. Research Institute was founded.
1952. In Samobor, pictoresque city near Zagreb film factory is opened
1954. Fotokemika starts production of radiographic films, cinepositiv film and later on microfilms as well as lith films for graphic industry.
1970. Fotokemika purchased license for professional and amateur films from company Adox DuPont.
Formulations are improved and new products are well excepted around the World.
In the 80's Fotokemika perfected industrial x-ray film and new types of multigraded papers.
In the 80's and 90's Fotokemika produces wide range of photo products : professional and amateur photography, reprographic supplies, radiological films, industrial radiography, materials for graphic industry etc.
1999 Fotokemika continues production exclusively in Samobor plant.
2003. Fotokemika-Nova d.o.o. was founded with intention to continue production of Fotokemika product range. Adapting to considerable changes in photo industry we are continuing production of b/w photo materials : b/w films, b/w photopapers, photochemicals and various photo products while in medical field we are oriented to cooperation with major international companies.
